September 2024 – Trade Fairs, M12, Apprentices – There's News to Report
Dear newsletter readers,
a lot of time has passed since our last newsletter, and a great deal has happened at WIR electronic.
On 1 August, our apprentices Paul and Lance began their training. Paul is completing a technical apprenticeship in Sayda, Lance a commercial apprenticeship in Chemnitz.
Welcome! We wish you a great start and are delighted that you are now part of WIR electronic.
We have worked hard to grow and expand our range of M12 connectors. We recently received IP68 certification for our straight X-coded connectors, and certification of further codings is in the pipeline.
In a research project with the ICM (Institut Chemnitzer Maschinenbau), we have developed a new shielding variant for our M12 series, which enables us to manufacture significantly more compact angled M12 connectors.
You can see a prototype of this connector, as well as our WIRflex series – M12 connectors with a freely selectable cable outlet angle – or our solution for screwable USB-C connectors, at all about automation Chemnitz on 18 and 19 September.
